We hope to build upon this year’s success by improving and expanding the programs that our community greatly needs.  In order to do so, we need your help, and we ask that you please donate to Adoption Mosaic before the year’s end.As you may know, I had the honor of meeting my birth mother after thirty six years. As someone who has dedicated her life and professional career to offering services to help others in their adoption journey, this year I was reminded of how much I value the knowledge and support of my Adoption Mosaic community.  My hope is that everyone connected to adoption has a chance to have a positive experience, even in challenging and complex situations like I had reuniting with my birth mother.  The sentiments of this hope are what drive Adoption Mosaic to:

  • Give voice to those whose stories often go unheard through programs, such as our birth mother and transracial adoptee panels and our magazine The Adoption Constellation;
  • Provide a safe space to explore every facet of the lifelong adoption experience through our revamped Adoption Readiness series and Adult Adoptee Discussion group;
  • Offer unbiased support to families through education and resources so that they can make healthy, informed decisions around adoption;
  • Engage the broader adoption community at the Colorado Heritage Camps and conferences, such as the most recent held at St. John’s University.  

Even though we do all of this with a minimal budget, Adoption Mosaic makes a big difference.  Imagine what we could do with your financial support.
